Dew Point Calibration for Specific Models

What is Dew Point Calibration?
Dew Point Calibration is the process of ensuring devices that measure dew point are performing optimally. These devices are most often dew point sensors, meters, probes and data loggers, moisture meters transmitters, and hygrometers.

What industries require Dew Point Calibration?
Dew Point Calibration is critical for many industries, including pharmaceutical manufacturing, aerospace and defense, life sciences, and medical/industrial gas industries.

How is a dew point sensor calibrated?
Dew point sensors and other similar devices are calibrated using several machines including a Chilled Mirror Reference Hygrometer, Thunder Scientific Two-Pressure Humidity Generator and Michell DCS Dew Point Calibration System. The capabilities of these are combined to calibrate from -80°C to +20°C dew point.

How do I know if my dew point device needs calibration?
As a general rule, sensitive equipment like those used to measure dew point should be calibrated periodically to ensure they are functioning correctly.

What accreditation does Trescal have for Dew Point Calibration?
Each Trescal U.S. Calibration facility is an accredited laboratory. A2LA is a third-party body that performs accreditations to various international standards, ensuring an unbiased and objective evaluation of Trescal’s functions. View accreditations by lab.
